Pokrex is an easy, efficient online planning poker tool (a.k.a. Scrum poker, agile poker or pointing poker) for agile/scrum teams. This process takes 2-3 minutes to complete and goes pretty smoothly if you have your JIRA instance open in one tab and the PlanningPoker screen with the JIRA Integration details in another. Steps 1 – 9 Will need to be completed by a JIRA admin. Planning poker, also called Scrum poker, is a consensus-based, gamified technique for estimating, mostly used to estimate effort or relative size of development goals in software development. In planning poker, members of the group make estimates by playing numbered cards face-down to the table, instead of speaking them aloud. Key highlights: Fully featured Planning Poker® directly in your Jira Software backlog view.; Customisable estimation values (you can use Fibonacci sequence, T-shirt sizes or any other custom deck). Built-in timers allowing to time-box your estimation sessions. Planing poker online app. Poker pointing made simple for distributed teams.
NOTE: These directions are for the latest design of JIRA. If these screenshots don’t look like your version of JIRA, check out our directions for the older version.
There are a few steps to get PlanningPoker and your instance of JIRA talking to each other. First, we’ll add the ability in JIRA to listen to planningpoker.com and then we are going to authorize your account to send updates to your JIRA instance.
